SPEAKING OF YARN: new to the collection are printed versions of Cool Wool and Cool Wool Big, called COOL WOOL VINTAGE. Let’s not forget COOL WOOL SETA, a version with shimmering silk. The focus of this issue is GUERNSEY-STYLE structured knitting, named after one of the British Channel Islands that carries the same name. This intricate pattern dates back to the 17th century. It is a mix of garter and purl stitches and were intended to protect fishermen from the cold. We have given the look a touch of chic with an occasional cable sprinkled in for good measures. Perfect for those trips ashore.
