We have all put two challenging years behind us, life at times just seemed to stand still. I sincerely hope that you got through this period in good stead, and maybe even used it creatively, doing what you enjoy most. Some of you will remember from my last magazine that knitting for me is like meditation.
As you can see from the following pages: I have meditated a lot! :-) Therefore, I would like to take you all home to my house in picturesque Dreisamtal in the Blackforest region of Germany and into the world of Mapala. You know me well now, all the Basics – shirts, sweaters, and cardigans – are knitted seamless and top-down. The decorative round yoke is exciting and this time I was able to use eight great yarns from LANA GROSSA. All Mapala-Basics can, of course, be varied and combined according to your preferred yarn, color and mood.
