The cardigan is knitted seamlessly from the top down either in the traditional way in rows (including front bands) or as steek-version. Therefore the cardigan is knitted in the rnd throughout. Later edges are secured by crocheting along the steek-stitchesand cut open. Stitches for both front bands are picked up and the bands are knitted sideways.
