This season the lala girl uses her newly gained knitting knowledge to construct something new, fresh and modern. She is a fashion conscious girl, yet her core style is unique luxury, dressing with cool integrity. Weaving her own tale. The Lala Berlin x Lana Grossa collaboration takes the crime out of craft and elevates the romance of ‘handmade’. This year’s “Hairy Yarn” features an innovative mix of wool and Alpaca to give a plush handle. The “Softness yarn” is a fabulous cocktail of mohair and wool, culminating in a yarn which is wonderfully smooth to knit with. The latest development within Lana Grossa is 3rd yarn aptly named “Cosy”, is a luxurious blend of Alpaca and Merino wool. The colour scheme spans blocked natural shades over soft rose and stone to blue and black. Hand knitting takes on a modern twist. Accentuated volume, playful fringing and blocked ribbing. The collection features a contemporary range of new yet simple of techniques, in a variety of shapes to offer every level of hand knitter. These will be unique pieces to pass on to future generations.
