What is Tencel and what are its properties?

What makes Tencel so sustainable?

The wood for Tencel is sourced from specially cultivated, sustainable forests. These forests are located in South Africa, where soil quality is low. Agriculture is not an option, but eucalyptus trees still grow there. The forests are managed sustainably and new trees are therefore planted in good time.
